Prof. Sahar Assaf, Assistant Professor in Theater Arts, will be directing an English translation of Issa Mahfouz’s “The Dictator” at Wild Project in New York City from September 10-12, 2015. She will also be speaking, along with Professor Robert Myers (AUB English Department), as part of a panel on contemporary Beirut theater at McGill University, Montreal, on September 17, 2015. Another panel will also be held in NYC in collaboration between LAU and CUNY.
