SEMINARS in art history
The Art History seminars revolve around key methodological texts that have shaped the discipline in the European context since the 16th century. Centered on student- and faculty-led discussions, the seminars critically revisit and investigate art historiographical methods and influential theories from other fields, such as linguistics, literary theory, psychoanalysis, and social and political theory.
The seminars are bi-weekly and are open to AUB students and faculty members from other disciplines. If you are interested in learning more about the seminars, please email Dr. Hala Auji at firstname.lastname@example.org or Dr. Angela Harutyunyan at email@example.com.
Required readings will be circulated to all seminar attendees in advance of meetings.
